Feet Smell

We call them tortilla toes!! And call me weird... but I love it :lol:

Just make sure that whatever baby wipes you're going to use on the feet won't harm the dog if he/she licks them.
 
Everyone talking about tortia toes is making me wish Saidys feet did smell!
I keep Saidys paws clipped and clean since she gets dermatitis on her pads from the grass if I don't so smelly feet has never been a problem here.
 
Killing myself here! I had never noticed this before, so of course, got up from my computer to smell the dog's feet!

Corn Chips, it is! Don't know about the chinese food, though!

I apparently never noticed it before, as I don't make a habit of smelling the dog's feet. But now having whiffed it, I don't find it unpleasant. Could be worse....it could smell like the goose crap that the boys paraded through all weekend at the cottage.

But yes, if you don't like the smell, a little sprinkle of baby powder is a wonderful thing. I often sprinkle it on the pups between baths as the final step to their brushing regime. It acts a little bit like chalk and fluffs the coat. And smells so sweet!
 
Barb, are you watching me through your computer? I did the exact same thing. Had to get up and make Meggie let me smell her paw.

Smells just like Fritos!! What's up with that. I never noticed it before, so if I have to put her paw to my nose to smell it, I'm not going to worry about it!
 
If I didn't have Pierre, I probably wouldn't have thought a dog's feet smelled funny. But at night, is rightful place is wedged between DH's and my pillows, feet outstretched toward one of us. It just so happens that sometimes a paw gets stuck in your face. And many of those times, I swear it is on purpose, to drug us into a deeper (therefore more snugglesome) sleep.
