Fill in the blanks: My dog is such a drama queen because...

So much fun reading the responses on the last thread, looking forward to lots more fun stories!

Honey is such a drama queen, any time she gets the smallest pain she'll whine, and limp, and look up at me with those big puppy eyes, until I bend down and give her a kiss and a hug and than she's off to romp again with not a care in the world.

Yesterday we were playing catch and she missed the ball and started shaking her head and blinking a lot. I was worried it had hit her eye and she might have gotten a scratch, right up until I opened my arms and saw her grinning as she ran over for her kisses! Than it was back to begging for more playtime!
 
My dog is drama queen (king?) because every time he asks for a treat & doesn't get one, he sulks and pouts & tries to look pitiful, even if he just had a treat 5 minutes ago!
 
In agility class last week, I threw Pyper a treat at the end of the teeter. It was a small piece of cheese and it went into the dirt. She made the biggest deal...trying to eat it, spitting it out, repeat....The whole class was laughing at her prissyness, not being able to eat something with a bit of dirt on it.

Of course, this is the same dog who has no problem eating directly out of the cat box, at any opportunity:confused2:.

I can picture it, so cute.
Toffee is like that with sand or dirt... OMG there is sand on my Ball, he is frantically trying to get me to clean it off for him, he loves his ball and is pretty frantic about it, lol but oh noes if there is sand on it.
Leo is like what sand, huh?
 
Both my girls will stop and look pitiful if they get a foxtail or spirochete sticker in their paws. Ally will sometimes run up from behind us on our daily walks and plant herself dramatically in a sit right in front of our feet. "Help! Something's sticking me!!!" :rolleyes2:

Our first Sheltie, Skye, would just stop, lay down and pull out the offending sticker herself. More of a self-help gal than Asta and Ally. We call it the Princess and the Pea syndrome. :lol:
 
If it's time to come back inside and Olive doesn't want to, she'll lay down and roll around in the dirt/grass/whatever and grunt like a pig.:rolleyes2:
 
If Jody has something stuck behind his ear (usually a twig, leaf, burr, etc.) he will persistently paw at his face, and if he can't get it off he stands in front of me shifting from paw to paw and letting off little whimpers of distress until I take it out! Then he runs away shaking his head and scratching as if it was still there:rolleyes2:! Sometimes he'll come back and do the same thing just to get his ear rubbed as I look for whats bothering him:lol:!If that's not a drama queen/king I don't know what is!

Oh, funny! I can just picture that shifting, like an anxious kid! "mooooom, helpppp! :lol:

Oh dear! Honey lays down when she doesn't want to come in too! Than she sits there, staring at me all innocent like, "what was that, I can't hear you, I'm so far away now...., I'll just stay here, you go do what you have to..."
