Fill in the blanks: My dog is such a drama queen because...

In agility class last week, I threw Pyper a treat at the end of the teeter. It was a small piece of cheese and it went into the dirt. She made the biggest deal...trying to eat it, spitting it out, repeat....The whole class was laughing at her prissyness, not being able to eat something with a bit of dirt on it.

Of course, this is the same dog who has no problem eating directly out of the cat box, at any opportunity:confused2:.

OMG Chauncey doesn't eat his treats if they get dirty. He dropped one of his pieces of meat on the brick patio and it got hair and little pieces of grit on it and he wouldnt eat it. I had to rinse it off and wipe if clean then he ate it. The dog park people think he is way to prissy and spoiled and I do too much for him. Truthfully he is very neat and clean and doesn't like dogs drooling on him or spilling water near him when they are drinking. He likes his paws clean and not in mud. I like this we laugh here at home and say his new name suits him for a gentleman dog, he has such good manners and I love how neat and gentle his nature is.
I am counting my blessings he hasn't stuck his head in the cat box and I seen dogs eat poo at the park and luckily he hasn't, I think I would gag if he did.

Shelby sits/lays down when she doesn't want to come in. When you call her she will go and lay down in the shade, look at me like she is saying "I promise to behave, I wasn't running the fence barking, I will just stay here here like a perfect little girl" And I am usually a sucker for it.

Annie Laurie screams like her throat's being cut with a dull hacksaw if you step even near her paw. Lord only know what she'd do if anyone actually stepped on her. :rolleyes2:

LOLL
a dull hacksaw, at that!

Toffee does NOT like when another dog accidentally steps on a HAIR, or even look at it... He is VERY good at dirty looks and deep throated growls, but not dull hacksaw screams LOL

Goodness, I'm glad Honey doesn't do that! When she was a pup she was under my feet so much that I stepped on her paws about three times a day!

Love the stories. I sooo have to post.

Miko is my drama queen because he's a big priss. Here's a couple of things/stories.

Like a few others. Treats that are dirty are non-edible. He's also not fond of taking treats from people. And dear gawd, if there's a community water bowl, he ain't going near it. Ew, dog slobber. Gross. LOL.

And a story about Miko's first trip to the beach.
He would go near the water as it went out, then would back up as it came in. Ew. Can't get wet. Gross. Two Huskies came out of the water all wet and shook off new him. I think he gave them the stink eye. Wet. Gross. He didn't like the sand either. As we were walking around, he gladly sat on someone's beach chair (I didn't know this person). And then as we walked around some more, he climbed into the lap of some man sitting/lying on the sand (so embarrassing - I have a photo of that somewhere).

Oh yeah. Miko is a big priss. Therefore, when I got Koji, I taught him not to care about anything.

Koji is a drama queen about food. He lets me know he will thoroughly die if I do not feed him NOW! And yes, he is starving and emaciated. He let's everyone know so they look at me like I'm crazy. :rolleyes2:

Found the picture of Miko. See attached. That is the epitome of my drama queen don't get me dirty Miko. LOL Gawd I love that dog.

Casey is a Drama King because he jumps onto the bed. Unless he sees someone picking up Bonnie (who can't jump onto it anymore). Then he is totally helpless unless he gets picked up too.

Tara is a Drama Queen because she howls when she gets left behind.

The rest are clowns, but not really drama queens.

Thought of a few more.

Annabelle and Clara are drama queens because they are incapable of sleeping without their heads on something that can be used as a pillow.

Annabelle is a drama queen because when she is don with a walk, she just lays down.

Clara and Tara are drama queens because they LOVE to get dirty. But when it is bath time, they are certain they are going to die.

They are all drama queens because they are certain they'll never see me again if I leave a room, and act like I've been away for months when I return. (But I sorta LOVE that part.)

But the ULTIMATE Drama King in my life was my late dog Brodie. He would jump into the tub to get washed off if he was muddy. He also would fake a limp if he wanted attention. But he wasn't very convincing because the leg he limped on would change throughout the act.

Trapp is the biggest drama (king)..as he will not walk thru or around close to a puddle. He simply will not get his feet wet on walks if he sees water. He will clear it, even if he has to jump over.

Mia is a drama queen because of her stomping her feet. She can be all lovey dovey to me if Brian is not here, but as soon as he comes home, I am chopped liver.

Jasper always talks, and always has the last word, even if its a grumble. He grumbles a lot, and he pouts. Heaven forbid someone trims the bottoms of his feet, he grumbles the whole time.

Blake will walk and keep looking back, then walks into a doorway or corner of a cabinet, then he looks at the item he walked into and barks as if...why must YOU be in my way~ He also pouts, but I think him & Jasper have had conversations!
As soon as I get a camera, Trapp is already making snooty faces, he is so funny. I have some really cute ones of him.

I'm pretty sure that statement calls for some picture posting as well :wink2:

Honey loves to pretend she can't jump on the bed too. Unless I have a tasty snack up there, than she's right beside me as soon as I sit down. :rolleyes2:
