So its not the greatest achievement - but Deska passed his Silver obedience exam tonight. This is the same test where he ran and crawled to the food bowl 'distraction' and failed so spectacularly last time.

Tonight we had thunder, we had a barbeque (run by our flyball team) - and against all those distractions we still managed to pass. Of course it could have been a sympathy pass - but hey, who cares, it was a pass!

After the test we had our end of year awards night at the dog club. Tully did not go in between my legs to hide once! And she even went up to sniff a few unknown dogs.

Here's a picture of a wet Deska with his ribbon (it was pouring rain too).

Congratulations Deska! I could'nt help but notice that he looked quite upset that he was wet! Poor babe~ Thats great he was not so shy this time around,and stayed focused.

I'm excited as well to eventually get Trapp going in the direction to first get into obediance class,which will be the spring,as it stands now. We'll work towards his CGC.

Congrats to both of you!
 
Congratulations to you both! Obedience is such an important skill for a dog. It can truly be a lifesaver.
 
Congratulations! Maybe the rain helped him keep more focused to you....
He doesn't look to pleased about the ribbon in his picture...but maybe that's because he's wet
