Fleur already had an accident, need advice

Fracture so likely she did not need it 'set' does not help on hurting. Also the second day of a crash is always worse. The initial pain can be taken. But then swelling sets in and makes it worse.

Yeah I saw the x ray, it was straight with a crack in it, so it didn't look like it needed to be aligned. Good to know about swelling. She seems to be doing better this morning. She finally went pee for the first time since it happened this morning. She is eating some boiled chicken, but not her food. She is already trying to walk on it. Still whimpers if it is touched wrong, but overall a lot less crying than last night.

That's great news! Get ready though, puppies will be puppies and your toughest job is going to be keeping her quiet as she heals. Be prepared to confine her with gates or an x-pen and crate her when you can't supervise.

So sorry for your baby's pain! Before I got Fillion my friend told me the horror story just like yours, about how her Dobe pup jumped off the couch and broke his leg and the ensuing misery getting him to heal. I was terrified to put him on furniture until he was older after that! I had no idea they were that fragile, I thought they were more flexible!
Hope they give him enough pain meds, puppy cries are heartwrenching.
Glad he's eating and peeing though--good sign.

Have you never crashed the race bike :ROFLMAO: Crashing hurts but the next day you hurt all over (or for bad crashes the next few days.....or so another sheep told me....) give her an ear scritch from us and a cookee

I have, but only broken bone I have gotten was in my hand during a fiddy race of all things at Deals Gap. I had to have a plate/screws, so haven't associated a lot of swelling with a fracture. lol

Just crashing in general. I have been tossed on every surface out there over the decades......not to mention normal stupid stuff :jimlad:

lol speaking of stupid stuff, I took an ambulance ride 3 weeks ago because my 1.5m RC P-51 got loose from it's stand while I was programing the remote (still not sure why the motor even started) and thought my leg would be a good place to stop it's propeller blades ha ha. Swelling in my foot still hasn't gone down, but 3 massive lacerations with two levels of stitches to close it will cause a bit of swelling. Waiting to see what the next member of the family does to try and lose a leg. Hopefully that bad mojo is gone.

Sounds like the Missus has her hands full with you and Floof

Good grief, that sounds awful! Do we need to put you in the ex pen with Floof? :ROFLMAO: Hope you're healing!
