I know this is no consolation Danielle, but I have been in contact with Barb,as good friend of mine that has a rescue in the Palm Bay area.A good friend of Barb's is an animal control officer.
There is a 98% possibility, that someone has this dog,and they are not budging with info.I'ts Barb's experiance, that with a dog as such...people keep pretty mum about finding them.
Shelties are not a real common dog to see roaming, and with the possiblility they "know" there is a good chance she is micro-chipped..they are'nt going to take her to a vet to have her scanned.I'ts sad to think that someone would intentionally keep her from her safe return to her rightful owners.
It would be nice to think, that everyone is an honest Abe,but it's a very good possibility she is in the possession of someone even as we read this post.
Our only hope,is that she is being taken care of,I know a hard pill to swallow, since she is not at home where she belongs.
One can only hope, that some honest person may read or hear about her being missing, and they have possibly seen her in someones yard, and report it.
That is exactly what we are thinking, Michele.
Thanks for making contacts. I really appreciate it....this is exactly what I was hoping for in starting this thread, to just get the word out to as many people as possible.
I will say a prayer for her and Angus tonight at 9pm.
