Gavin welcomed me home today with

The moment his head flopped back to the ground was truly heart stopping. He really does sleep very soundly now sometimes. And this wasn't just me petting him but physically lifting his head up and it flopping down like dead weight.

I am so sorry Cindy. That must have been traumatic. I can only imagine what you must have felt in terror that Gavin was gone.

Hopefully, he can build his strength back up. I know only too well when seniors get debilitated it is so hard to get them back to health. It is slow process.

When they sleep so deeply it is concerning when it becomes hard to rouse them. I certainly hope with more groceries in him he will become stronger.

please keep posting often as we are all very concerned for you both!

Yep! Lovin' that poop :)

it just is taking a while for the recovery since Gavin is 14. Sicking with short walks for a while. Also kinda hot outside, too, which is also hard on Gavin. went for a stroller walk today to the library, with short walk for Gavin, and laying down in the grass in the shade.

I bet he enjoyed himself getting much needed fresh air and sunshine. I know both of you were enjoying being together! So glad he got his stroller ride and a bit of exercise.

All back to normal! He is having beautiful poops, no accidents, and we are back to our walk schedule.
I get visits every night on my bed.
He has been 'helping' me in the bathroom while I get ready every morning.

I love my boy!!!!!
