Gavin welcomed me home today with

Odd thing... I had a small water bowl outside for Gavin. He did not use it this morning, and when I got home it was bone dry.
I have a 6 foot privacy fence, so not sure what kind of visitors I could have had.
I know birds come down and eat in my yard.
 
Either birds or a local cat I suppose.
Last night was uneventful beyond being asked to let him out a few times.
Nice orange diarrhea though! Gavin got a bum wash this morning, poor guy.
Lots of dog beds covers (aka old sheets) and towels need washing, too.
Tonite I will start mixing in chicken with the RC pumpkin mix. The RC is mostly gone (it smells AWFUL) thankfully.
But it did get some calories into Gavin.
 
Gavin HATES being groomed. He is kinda ratty right now. Oddly enough, he doesn't look it to the casual observer (he never does for some reason). I did his front legs this morning and found he lost one of his toenails on his bad rear leg. It looks pretty pathetic, with a tiny bloody quick. it happens to be the one (outer) of those 4 toenails that never fully recovered from radiation, 2 others are a little odd because they get worn down (middle), and 1 is normal (inner). He toe touches on that leg (and nails) but not on that nail since he uses mostly the 2 middle ones. No idea when it happened since I normally only see the middle ones. Could have gotten caught on something since it has always looked kinda weak.
