I scratched on Friday(my husband just had surgery on Monday), wasn't entered on Saturday and was going to stay home today but my friend convinced me to go and I'm thrilled that I did! Trax finished his Exc A JWW title today! The course was 144 yards and he did the course in 23.58 seconds! We had the fastest time in the 16" class!

His Standard run was awesome too but he still has issues with the tunnel/dog walk discrimination and gets sucked into the tunnel every time. I don't have another show until April so I'll have some time to focus on that :biggrin2:

Congratulations! That is a great accomplishment and to get the fastest time too! Did you get a video of the runs???? I'd love to see it if you did. :smile2:

No unfortunately I didn't get a video. I was afraid I would jinx myself if I pulled out the video camera

Congratulations on your achievements!
Che gets "uplifted" on DW instead of tunnel every time:lol: so if you have any good suggestions how to train obstacle discrimination I would love to know them

When you have a dogwalk/tunnel discrimination, ideally you should pull toward the one closest to you, and push the line toward the outside one, depending which you are taking. A name call to get them to check in when pulling is also appropriate.
If it's something your dog has trouble with, working on sending to the dw and the tunnel with one under the other and changing up which one you send to would be a good idea. Get the dog listening and responding to what you are asking instead of just taking what they prefer. Reward the right choice.

Yep, been there done that. Trax loves the tunnel.period.amen  We've been working on it for years now and for some reason he just chooses the tunnel 95% of the time :biggrin2:
