Great day!

Congrats on new title. My gawd Trax was hauling, wasn't he?

And how to keep up? I'd suggest interval training (for you) and distance training (for him). LOL.

Oh man, maybe I'm glad Koji's not that fast. But my goal is to lose as much weight as possible this year so he can run as fast as he wants....and I can try to keep up with him thin or not.

Yeah he's getting faster and faster! I've done interval training before. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get to the gym lately as my husband just had surgery but I'm hoping by next week I can start up again. We don't have another show until April so I have a few weeks to start working on it again :biggrin2:

I'm astounded by people who keep up with their dogs that aren't fit. I'm not super fit right now but I'm not overweight or out of shape. I have a hard enough time keeping up with Trax. I can't imagine how some people do it. Lots of distance training I guess. I try to work with him with distance but the farther I get the greater chance I take that he makes his own course up

The interval training was more of a joke than a real suggestion. ;) Honestly, I'm overweight and out of shape. But when Koji runs, I push myself. I figure, it's for 30-45 seconds. I can push that long/fast. However, I've seen videos, I feel like I'm all out running and I look like I'm barely moving, LOL.

Okay, I personally suggest dance lessons. Because those that make running look easy, look like they are dancing. ;) No? Hmmm....Jet pack? Rollerskates? I say, just teach Trax to read numbers and course maps.
