Great Sheltie Bathtub!

Oh that looks nice. I'm curious though, how does this save your back if it's in the bathtub anyways? Does it sit higher?

For myself, I put a stool in the bathtub and sit on that while they are in front of me. My back still hurts afterwards, from leaning forward, but it's 100x better than standing leaning over or bending over the edge of a bathtub.

Will wait to hear feedback.

Weird, guys. My back never hurts when the dogs get their baths...

(That's my husband's job!!!)

Yeah, no question I'm still going to be bending over the tub, but the thing I like about this is that it will contain the dog instead of my chasing them up and down the tub with the spray etc. so it will take less time to bathe. You could put this up on something in the tub to raise it a bit but I'm not sure that would be secure enough.

I'll report back in with the review!

Wow! You guys don't mess around. That thing looks awesome.

No, that's not mine. I just copied the idea! I didn't build any counter or anything. I just bought a double stationary tub and cut the center out of it. It works perfect for a grooming tub and it was cheap!

Still....just to have a tub dedicated to your dogs is awesome.

I've thought about how wonderful it would be if I had a grooming area in the basement where I could groom and bath my shelties, but it never occurred to me to buy a bathtub to put inside my existing bathtub. I usually just sit on a stool or on the side of the bathtub but I too end up with an achy back.

I might just have to look into this some more...:smile2:
