Heading to the National!

Rachel and Diva's news just is fabulous, feel-good stuff. So sorry you weren't there to witness the runs and placements!
 
More news from Nationals. Today was rally and obedience.

Rachel showed Diva in Rally Excellent A this morning and got first place with a 99. Rachel said she lost the 1 point when she got lost on course and paused to look around and Diva fell out of heel position. So proud of Diva.:biggrin2: She is my obedience dog and Rachel said she listen so well to her. This is Diva's 1st RE leg.

Rachel also showed her sable merle boy Pike in Open, Utility and Rally. Pike did everything in Open but laid down on his sit stay so he NQ'd. She said it was too bad because he was working so well. Similar results in Utility, a great run except instead of sitting on the singals Pike came. Did everything else perfect. Rachel said he was scoring in the high 190's. So sad.:(

But then Pike redeemed himself in Rally Excellent B and got 1st place with a perfect 100 and the fastest time. :smile2: There were about 28 dogs in the class. I'm still waiting on results of Advanced B. Hopefully Pike Q'd and got his RAE leg.

Congrats to Rachael and Diva! This is going to be an awesome week-plus for so many Sheltie Nation friends -- I love following all your success and gallant attempts!!! Love you guys and rooting for you everyday from Nattering Springs! :biggrin2:
 
Go Diva! She is quite the little star. Thanks for the updates! I am enjoying keeping up with how everyone is doing.
 
If you see any Shelties from Mt Juliet, TN say bark to Sca's extended clan though I would expect they are all in Conformation only.
