Hi from Nashville

She has a little bit of brown on her back legs and around the base of her tail (wait--that might not be fur--just kidding).

She rarely barks and I wonder if she is taking her cues from her older "sister"--a lab that never barks. Perhaps she will outgrow it and give the dogs that live behind us a run for their money.
 
Home Depot Trip

Pippa went to Home Depot today and met many admirers--key to her socialization process. The guy at the store told me dogs were not allowed, but my dog was better behaved than the kids I saw there :wink2:. She was a perfect lady, but did not like the bumpy cart in the garden center.

Until very recently, I was also living in Nashville (my dog is Lerwick, as mentioned by SheepOfBlue). What a bummer that Lerwick and I have relocated... we could have had Sheltie play dates!

What part of Nashville are you living in? I was living in the Antioch/airport area.
 
I adore the name Pippa. I adore the dog too, if you look closely at my Melli -- she looks a lot like your girl (only plump). Welcome!

Go to Hobby Lobby if you have one. Company policy is to allow dogs, and I have the email from corporate to prove it!

Oh, yes, I used to drive right past Nippers Corner every day when I worked in Brentwood. :) Then I decided it was faster and less frustrating to take I-24/440/I-65 rather than drive down Bell Road with all the traffic lights. :gaah
