Hi ya'll, another sheltie in the house

Hi, I'm Joan and my sheltie is Bobby. He was SRGA Rescue # 997, now he is my heart and soul, pride and job, my right hand. :smile2:

He taught me so much that is wonderful about this breed, including his opinions on nearly everything I do, and wear, and say.

Looking forward to learning all I can because I know that I'll always need a sheltie (or two) by my side.

I have another dog too, recently acquired. She's a 10 year old Lhasa Apso whose special person was lost to cancer. The extended family tried, but could not care for her so she's my dog now. I think she's pretty happy, she has Bobby and I to boss around.

So maybe my name should be: 1 Great Dog, 1 Oh so pushy!

Welcome to the Forum, Joan. Thank you for taking in two rescues and welcoming them as part of your family. Pictures are always enjoyed and I'm the first to ask you to post photos of your Bobby (as well as your Lhasa girl).

Joan,
Welcome to the Sheltie Forums and thank you so much for rescuing your dogs. I love it here. We have fun and learn as well. Glad you joined.

Welcome to the forums, and thanks for taking in two special dogs :)
We have a few honourary Shelties in here, lol
Not all can be perfect, you know ;)

Offical welcome to the forum. I used to have an Ms. Oh So Pushy too. A rescue JRT/Beagle mix. I thought I need my head examined the day I took her in. Turned out to be one of the best dogs ever even though she wasn't a sheltie.:wink2: 14 yrs with me and pushy too the end.

Can't wait to see pictures of your dogs.

Thanks. I'm looking around for how to put pictures in here, I wonder if I'm too new...

But, if this works, here's my "kids"
