Holistic Flea and Tick repellant

We'll be doing Dose 3 on 15 June. I love this stuff -- the ticks haven't been embedding. Oh not at all -- they crawl off Layla in the dead of night and creep onto me! so I sit bolt upright in bed. I swear, I have an inborn tick sensor! :wink2:

Perhaps you should buy some for yourself too

Great , so this is what I get to look forward to - ticks crawling on me now. I've already had three do that, and then I can't get back to sleep because I feel like I 'feel' them all over me. Oh, how I hate those things. I wonder though, if that stuff would work on me??? I mean, it's essential oils - hmmmm. I should try spraying the stuff I got for my dogs right now on me the next time I go to the park and see.....

I was joking when I said that Chris should buy the spot-on for herself, but that's not a bad idea Ania! If you try it let us know how it works!

Separate Times for Medications

I gave Sadie dose #2 Monday night (June 1st, with her heart worm medicine) and Sadie was again very agitated.
:

One suggestion that I've gotten from a number of vets: Don't do your flea/tick medication the same time as your heartworm med. It can be too taxing for the dog's system. We separate the treatments by a week or more. I try to do the heartworm on the first of the month, and the flea/tick med on the 15th. That is of course, providing I remember to read all the notes I stick on my calendars... :uhoh:

Hmmm....since mine is all-in-one, I'm not sure how to deal with THAT! (Revolution)
