How to keep a sheltie off the furniture?

Sure it starts out with a sheltie being fuzzy on the couch and everything is fine until you let your guard down.

Then he throws a kegger and things get out of hand

By boy can flop down where ever he pleases! He loves sitting on the couch with me and watch tv. A couch is a couch ... Snickers is my family (that's just how I see it).

ROTFLOL! Great photo!

Right now, Layla is curled on my feet as I lie on the leather couch, recovering. Becker-de-Decker is on the floor at my side, having not yet figured out that he can jump onto anything, big as he is. Bitsy Boodle is curled against the dog bed, and Annie Laurie is leaning against the big geode next to her Daddy's chair. She climbs on the bed using the stairs her Dad built her -- steps to her cherry hope chest to the bed. I love having them all over me! :smile2:

oh yes
I can see how you are putting your foot down... it's really working for ya, isn't it? LOL
No sheltie on the furniture, my a$$

Looks like you are losing the same battle the in laws are losing with Teddy the Terror. Teddy chewed a fairly good size hole on the seat of their couch that he is not allowed up on!!!:rolleyes2::rolleyes2:
