How to keep dogs away from heater???

Ok, I have to say, I want your sheep. Have you thought about fireplace foam bumpers? They might do the trick. I looked online and it looks like most for child proof just change it to be a holy type cover versus the open cover. I don't know if that would do the trick for you or not though.

I got the sheep at Sam's Club (or was it Costco?). I think at some point someone here mentioned it and I went to get one. Not sure if it's something that is typically around or what.

I'm wondering if it's not really dangerous. Maybe I'll just go ask the people in the leasing office. The guy in there has a dog.

From what I remember of the baseboard heating from years ago, it didn't get super hot. It was hot but I would suspect if it gets too hot, the dogs will move away from it. Check with the leasing office as you plan. They may have some suggestions. You could always put a chair or table in front of where you think he may lie and block it from him that way.

We had those at the apartment they never got that hot, we kept things right up against them and it never caused burns or anything.

it's a sam's club thing. sadly can't find it ever again though :( I looked in every sam's club by me  but that would work too, I say turn it on and see how hot it truly gets first.

I have one of those upstairs in my house. Never though about it but when it is turned on the dogs don't lay by it. It isn't super hot in so if you touched it it will burn you but it does get hot enough that it will if you don't move with time.

Most animals move before that happens if they are capable of moving. If they can't move then yes they can be burned same thing happens with heating pads. Not sure how to keep them away as like I said it has never been an issue. Justice does sleep beside it in the summer when it is off
