so what does it mean when a state isn't listed?
I noticed that Alabama wasn't in the table.

That means that there are no laws to how young a dog can be when sold. South Carolina is not listed either...no surprise there.

It might be different as far as regulations but bottom line a puppy needs his mom until at least eight weeks and I'd be pretty iffy on any breeder who doesn't do so. I would be even more iffy if she's charging a lot of money :/ It's not about their eating habits, it's about learning how to be a dog.
