I can't believe what I just did

Wow! What a scare! I'm glad she's OK. It's happened to me a couple of times with Fergus. He's pretty small and I didn't notice he was under there. Needless to say he learned his lesson and gives the recliner a wide berth now.

Wow. What a scare. I am so glad she is ok. I don't have a recliner but the BF does. I will have to tell him to be careful as he has a Westie.

I believe it, I have a recliner, but Sandstorm is too big to even get halfway under it. He is also scared of the foot rest. These pet accidents happen to anyone. And statistically (I was told by an E.R. doc) the #1 household injuries to people are- tripping over dogs at home, in the dark! :(

Oh and be thankful she is not a devious ham. We had a dog named Zeek that would have limped for sympathy and treats after that, of course the second he thought no one was watching he walked normal. He was terrible on making people feel guilty to his benefit.

What a big scare! I am so happy that she is OK. I know what you mean about always worried about them being under there. I always try and check before I put the legs down...but sometimes if I don't and I feel a bit of resistance, I totally freak out thinking I got one of them.

So glad that everything turned out OK.

Wow!! Nasty scare but thankfully no harm done! We used to have one but don't now. It never occured to me that one of the dogs could get trapped but that's always the way with freak accidents.

So scary! I'm glad Diva is okay. Shelties are so quiet, especially if they don't wear dog tags and you have carpet. I never know where Bailey is when she is upstairs in my house.

Scary! Asta almost got squished by my Dad's recliner when we were visiting - he just isn't used to watching out for dogs around. Luckily I saw it start to happen and stopped him (yelled and scared the c**p out of poor Dad).

At home we're really careful to make sure the dogs aren't under when we have the foot rest up.

Diva will enjoy all the extra attention to make up for the episode! Glad all is OK.

Sharon

Scary indeed. Glad all seems well. One thing for sure --- this will never happen again in your household !
