Ideal Agility Mobile For Us Addicts

I'm actually looking at the new Prius V. It gets 44 mpg AND it has more cargo room than many SUV's now! So it would fit my crate AND it wouldn't cost nearly as much to get me to the shows.

I have a Suzuki SX4 sport crossover. It fits 2 #300 crates in the hatch area with lots of space for equipment, training bags, etc. and 2 people up front. Since I have 2 dogs and one husband, this works perfectly for me!

Depending on your budget, of course... but I really adore my 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring (hatchback), I call her Roxie Red for short 
I decided on that for agility AND budget reasons!
It's enough for myself and Mr Toffee, our friend Tara and her dog Ziva who usually catches a ride with me and our equipment. Its definitely affordable for me... very comfortable, okay on gas and practical... it has a lot more room on the inside than people think.

I am seriously looking at the Lexus ct200h. I love that it is a hybrid (traveling is costly for me). It doesn't have a huge cargo, but enough for at least 1 big crate and space around it if I fold down the seats (it's just me, my husband and the dogs, so we rarely need 4 seats).
It's hard because right now I have a BMW 3 series and we can never take my car to trials or traveling because there is no room for a crate. I don't like to use a seatbelt for long distances, not to mention the fact that if the dogs are dirty, etc... Plus we almost always crate out of the car when at trials.
I'm also sort of a car snob
o) so I want something that feels more like a car, and less like an SUV.

My car is about to hit 100,000 miles, so I'm hoping that next year we'll be able to trade it in for something like the ct200h.

I really want a small SUV. I'm been looking into the Nissan Rogue. The WV Tiguen, and The Ford Edge.
It's just me and Bailey, so I don't need a huge SUV. Something small with a nice trunk. Plus, I want 4-wheel drive for the rain and snow.
Right now I have a coupe and it's awful for traveling with just one dog. There is no cargo space and no room for a crate. It gets really crammed when I have to bring an overnight bag or if we are staying at my parents for a few days.

fingers crossed for something new at the end of this year!I've been really liking what I've read about the Dodge Journey. If money were no object, I would push for the full-size Dodge Durango with a V-8. When we travel it's usually long distances and mountain driving. There are so many SUVs and large trucks on the road here, that it just feels safer and you have better visibility in traffic if you can sit up high like most of them. Maybe ... someday. Until then, my ultra-reliable 2002 Infiniti does a pretty decent job for me and Phebe.

I just had maintenance done on my Subaru Legacy, so had a Subaru Outback (2012) for a few days. I found my next car!! It's big enough for a couple of crates
and agility equipment. It also has pretty decent mpg for a smaller SVU AND it's all wheel drive (a must in the snowy and hilly parts of CT). I pretty much didn't want to give it back when my car was ready.....HopeShelties

With gas as high as it is, Id like to upgrade my car from the ford escape to the ford escape hybrid for better mileage. I really like the escape in all respect except gas. Its big enough for 2 special suv crates on a platform. It still leave me room under the plaform for th xpen and behind the crates for my luggage and chairs.
