I'm back after a long time away. (kinda long)

Hi Dave. Many prayers coming your way plus a big hug:hugs our shelties just know when we are not well and Chase sounds like a wonderful little companion in your time of need.
 
I want to thank everyone for the kind words and prayers they do mean a LOT to me. I hate this not knowing the future but I'm slowing growing to accept what I can change.
Chase has learned that I can't walk him but still wants to sit with me every day and play catch or tug-a=war with his toys. These guys are so smart. It's like he understands my limits and will do what he can to play with me as much as I'm up to it with no complaints.
I promise to be checking every day now and no more just sulking in the corners. Thanks again, Dave

Dave welcome back. I am so very sorry about your cancer, I have lymphoma and have been taking chemo- not a fun thing at all. Bless you as you fight this dreadful disease. I can so understand Chase's devotion to you and sticking close to you. My Zak does not leave my side especially when I don't feel well on Chemo days. They are so very smart.

I'm so very sorry to hear of your health challenges. I hope you are able to tolerate your treatment and see some improvement.

Hang on tight to your family and to Chase. Our dogs are such wonderful support.
 
Sumac I know where you are coming from. 4 years ago I was diagnosed with Chronic lymphocytic leukemia. This is one of the "good" Leukemia as it takes years to cause any real problems. I was at stage 0 until this other cancer was discovered. They at first were hoping it was part of my CLL because as cancer goes CLL is a fairly easy one to treat. But after about 1000 tests it seams they can find no relation between the two cancers. This one now is much more aggressive and is basic going where it wants. It sure has change how you look at life and how you take the simple for granted in life and now they mean so much to me. My Chemo is easy that day but about 24 to 48 hrs latter it really takes a toll and I feel heck to put it mildly. Last two Chemo’s they are trying some new stuff and the days after are not filled with all the sickness as I had before. I have made as much as 5 days with out getting sick and boy that is a joy!

I am so sorry to hear about this. It's tough to hear you and Sumac, too are going through this kind of hardship. Thank you for sharing, I feel privileged you share some of what you are going through with us, thank you.
I hope you can take one day at a time and I am grateful you have Chase and Zak sharing these journeys with you guys.
