Now we can move onto level 1 obedience when the club reopens in February next year. They close for December and January due to the summer weather which is good. It will give me and Bonnie some time to practise what we already know!

Congratulations...we knew you and Bonnie could do it!!!!! :wink2: Good job and love the pics!

Bonnie and I had lots of fun at dog training today! It was a christmas / last class of the year get together. There was a free BBQ lunch, then we got split up into small groups and rotated through several games.

Bonnie came second in her group for the 'push up' game (most sit, down, sit etc in 15 seconds) and first in the 'egg and spoon race' (Bonnie and I running with me balancing a tennis ball on a spoon)!

For her prizes she won 4 small trial size bags of treats and a braided rope ball. Afterwards we went to the local pet store and I bought her a christmas squeaky toy slipper and a packet of bully sticks. One of the ladies that worked there thought Bonnie was cute so played with her for a bit and then gave her a free treat, lol. So Bonnie is now passed out on the floor at home from all the fun.

Making everything fun for a dog is the best way they learn and it sounds like the instructor is very creative. Fun party day and congratulations to Bonnie on 2nd place on "pushups"....and to Bonnie and you on winning the "egg and spoon race"! You both deserved a good nap afterwards!

Sounds like a lot of fun! Congratulations Bonnie on your places. The egg and spoon win is really impressive... difficult enough without a dog involved too!

Bonnie is nearly all grown up ...

Right now she is a whole 12.3 inches high and 10.8 pounds heavy. Oh, and she turned 7 months old yesterday, on New Years Day!

And yes I know there are quite a few of you with much younger pups that are already bigger than Bonnie, what can I say, she's petite  Actually as you can tell from some of the photos she is actually a bit chubby, I have now cut back on her food for the second time :/

I was talking to her breeder today and she told me she had to sell Bonnie's brother, who she had wanted to show, since he had actually gone oversize!

Pics I took this morning:

I'll have to get and post a new pic of Baker - these two could be siblings - they look so much alike!

So glad Bonnie is doing so well for you!

Wow, she's looking a lot like her uncle Deska. Right down to the black on the tail, the big floppy ears and that light colouring across the shoulder blade! Even that cheeky grin!

Your Bonnie is just beautiful...she is growing up so fast...seems like only yesterday when you were waiting for your new little puppy! Love the pictures. :smile2:
