Indy has gone to the Rainbow Bridge

So sorry to hear of your loss. Your last gift to him, was one of restored health at the bridge. What a gift!

Thoughts with you,

janet alan russell

This morning at 9 am Alan, Russell, and I held Indy as the vet assisted him to sleep. Indy would have been 16 years old if he had lived to 6/12/11; but he was having progressive health issues despite the medications for arthritis, thyroid, and congestive heart failure. We will miss him every day.He was my first purebred sheltie, and a true gentleman.

Indy, your southern gentleman...words seem so inadequate at times like this. we are thinking of your family. the faulks

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Indy's on the Rainbow Bridge in good company and watching over you forever. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Remember the fun and his long and wonderful life with you. You were lucky to have him here for such a great, long life.

Janet, I am so sorry

I was thinking of you the last couple of days and I'm sad Mr Indy is gone. I am glad you all had one another during this awful time. I am sure the rest of the Sheltie clan will help you guys cope with the loss of such a wonderful dog.

Indy, may you rest in peace, have zoomies like you did as a pup, when you taught Russel the ropes and when you set a high standard for all the Shelties who came after you. I am sure you are going to be a kind leader and trail blazer at the Rainbow Bridge. We will miss you down here

Since we have talked so many times, when we talked last week, and told me about the decision to help Indy cross Rainbow Bridge,we knew it was not easy.He has lived a beautiful & wonderful life, and he had all of you to thank.

You are such an amazing mom to all of the shelties, all the puppies. What you did today, was a decision that none of us find easy. But I know he is running around without pain, and making great friends with all the furr babes. And Indy loves you more than anything, that you made his journey a peaceful one.

He will be missed, but he is looking over you & your family, and will be waiting for you.
We are so blessed to have met him in person, what a grand southern gent.

Hugs from all of us~

big hole in the heart created, lots of sweet memories left behind... may Indy be running and playing his favorite games at the bridge...
