I know we have a hundred threads on this, but I'm getting a little discouraged.
I noticed a couple days ago that Lexi's ear tape was starting to fall out a bit. It had been in for about a month, so that's to be expected. Anyways, 2 nights ago we took on the task of redoing the tape.
First, we cleaned took out the old tape and cleaned out all the adhesive. Her ears were a little red and seemed irritated, so I let her go the entire day without any tape.
Tonight, I set about putting new tape back in. I swear I'm doing exactly what the breeder told me, but I can't get it to stick! I roll up the tape into a roll about the size of my finger, then place it in towards the base of the flexi part of her ear, then curl the ear down on top of it and hold for a few seconds.
It looks great! And then it doesn't stay. It just rolls up until her ears aren't being "held" by the tape anymore.
Any thoughts or tips?
