I even let him pet me wen mumma got her packij. I dinnint even make her give me baloney to let him pet me. An on Winsday nite at ajility i did jumps an da dog-walk an even da teeter! I even tipped it by myself and mumma gave me LOTS of baloney an said we can maybe go to a show in janyooary. Do you think dere will be lots of baloney?!

Kris here: Lilly is coming along in leaps and bounds. Every day it's something new and our bond grows stronger and stronger. She will do anything for me ((and balogna)). I'm so excited with how FAST she is progressing in agility and know it won't be too long at all before she will be ready to go with me to work as my demo dog instead of me having to abduct my mum's border collie for a demo dog on my class nights.

Glad to hear Lilly is doing so well!

Lottie's foster mom wrote a book about her first rescue. She coaxed that sweet little thing out of her shell with hot dogs! Pretty much just bologna in another form, right?!

I think it terrible that the one treat she goes bonkers for is the one that grosses me out the most. I surely wouldn't use balogna as treats for the border collies or any other dogs who were already chow hounds but when I first got Lilly she needed a "good reason" to try for me and to trust and look to me in the situations I put her in. I'm hoping in the near future to find a healthier alternative to this slimy awful lunchmeat. I'm incredibly picky about her kibble and the regular treats I give her but we train with "garbage". xD Next time I go to the grocery store I'm going to get some string cheese and see if that tickles her pickle. Worst case scenario, my son will have strong cheese for a snack.

all my pups love string cheese

Good news on Lilly's progress! How about small pieces of chicken if the string cheese doesn't work? Keep up the good work.

Beckon works wonders in Rally for a yucky hot dog -- the more Red Dye #2, the better he does. Sheesh! :rolleyes2:
