LOST SHELTIE - RI - Update

Also, electronic posters should be sent to every vet in the area alerting them that she is a stollen dog!
In case she is brought in for any medical attention!

Great idea!

Can Maggie's owners also check if neighbors around her have video footage that might have captured the theft? I know the new technology RING doorbell captures anyone remotely in the area of vision by the internal camera. So many people these days have video cameras on their home too! Even if a human did not see something the video cameras may have! Just a thought!

Thanks for keeping us updated! We all pray for her safe return!

Thanks, Gloria. We're doing the vets with posters. She lives in a fairly rural area so I don't know about neighbors but that's a good thought and I'll mention it. Thanks for the suggestions.

All I can say is, if anyone found her, the first thing they should do is bring her to a vet or rescue to be scanned to reunite her with her family!
That is common sense...
Which leads me to the conclusion she was stollen!

Here is the poster we're using for Maggie. If you're in the Northeast, we'd love it if you'd share this with your vet. Maggie is officially reported as stolen, and we are hoping she will eventually be at a vet. Since she's microchipped, she can be identified. Thanks to anyone who can help! Maggie Poster.jpg

No news, no sightings, nothing. The police are involved now since they're sure she was stolen from the yard. Her family is devastated. Please pray they find her.

I hope that she gets back safe to her family soon! Are there any social media sites in that area that you could post her picture? We have one in PA called Find Toby PA. People post about lost and found pets on their facebook page.

There are several Rhode Island "lost pet" site and she's on all of them, thanks. We also have a page on Facebook called Missing Maggie - A Call to Action. Please check it out and like it if you're on Facebook. Our FB posts with her flyer have been shared nearly 1,000 times since Monday. People are watching and aware. The problem is if she's somewhere someone doesn't want her to be seen, she won't be. It's our hope that eventually she will have to go to a vet who has seen the flier. A small hope, but it's all we have. This is such a terrible crime to combat because you are just helpless.
