I had to let go to my Misty Oct 11, 2014 at 1 pm. (14 years 10 months old)

I never imagined that it would hurt so much. Bone cancer has taken my little girl away. I'm not a small man but losing my little girl has reduced me to a sobbing mess. I live alone, and now feel lost without her.

I hope and pray that when I pass, I'll be able to hold my little girl again.

I love you Misty. More than I can ever express.

Oh I am so very sorry to hear. I have shared my life with three wonderful Aussies who are now at the Bridge so I understand how horrible this feels. I now share my life with three wonderful dogs -- a shepherd & 2 shelties. They don't replace my love for my first three dogs, but it helps make life joyful again in a way special to these three.

I will mourn with you but I will also celebrate a long life of love. That is the best a dog's heart ever wants and you have given your angel so much for so many years.

Hugs to you as you find your path to mourn, heal, celebrate, and hopefully love again in a new special way.

I am so sorry for your loss of Misty, I also have a fur baby at the Rainbow Bridge. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. If you have not read the Rainbow Bridge poem, please Google RainbowBridge.com It is a beautiful sentiment and may offer you some comfort. We all mourn with you at this sad time, but you can know that your baby left this world knowing that she was so loved, 14 years and 10 months is a wonderful testament to your pet parenthood.

My deepest sympathies to you on you loss of your beloved heart dog Misty.
I know and understand your pain. My hope is that you will be able to remember the lovely gifts she gave you in her 14 years 10 months on this earth with you. She is with you still in spirit...you will be reunited once again.

All I can say is my heart and prayers are with you in this difficult time. I hope the supportive comments to your post reassure you that you are not alone in your grief. Virtual hugs being sent your way. :hugs

They say memories are golden
Well maybe that is true
I never wanted memories
I only wanted you.

A million times I needed you
a million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.

In life I loved you deeply
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
no one could ever fill.

If tears could build a stairway
and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven
to bring you back again.

Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one…
the chain will link again

I'm so sorry about Misty. They are so precious and share our lives for such a short time, but carving such a large spot in our lives and hearts. I wish you comfort and peace. :hugs

So sorry to hear that it was Misty's time to go. I firmly believe we'll be reunited with our beloved furry family members in the future, so you will be able to see her again.
