Midwestern Paws!

It was 20 above with a 13 wind chill in BR yesterday. It was brutal for me, but did not bother Zulu a bit. Living in the South all my life, I cannot even imagine what minus anything must be like!!

It's horrible. Even our dogs haven't wanted to be outside. They didn't even have zoomies, they just laid there and napped.

snow but no wind -makes all the difference

so my lil monsters went out and LOVED the deeper snow this morning...it almost covers Savannah, and she was hesitant at first but she saw Kaleigh plowing through and bouncing and they are so competitive she joined in (they are such siblings-it is WORSE than kids). This is Savannah's first exposure to deeper snow and a few drifts...but since there is no wind and 25, not too bitter for her.

She has the puppy fuzz(5 mths), but it is getting thicker but still not long. She is light sable...and now at her shoulders it is coming in horizontally, but lighter, so it looks like wings trying to sprout on either side as it is longer than other places. I wish I was adept at the photo deal, because she is hilarious looking right now. A total poof ball. The Vet commented that she has hit the bad fur day period-can't do a thing with it (I love his sense of humor), because it is so unkempt and unmanageable. I guess I could slick it down but I find it entertaining so not going there. The "poof" factor increases outside making me lol at her.

I love the snow, that is all.

PS yes that is frozen spit in my name from my uncle Birch
Our sky water doesn't get hard but it has be raining here. Though my sheep was sick so I stayed inside to protect him (and stay dry)

PS Spitfire does not have the sense to stay out of the sky water then comes in my house to lay on me

It rained here and now my backyard is slush. Guess what? Mom missed a bunch on last pickup. :ick

I think I need a house with a regular backyard. This townhouse stuff sucks!
