Mikos' Sister's Show Debut

We went to a local dog show today because Mikos' sister was making her show ring debut. We hadn't seen her since December and forgot how tiny she was, but she is like a 'Mini-Mikos'! She got 1st in her class, won another class I can't remember and then got best of winners so she now has points for her championship and two more days to go! It was so exciting to go and watch her and have everything explained to us while it was going on. I can see why people get caught up in the showing and performance, how cool!!
The owner has invited us to come back tomorrow morning with Mikos so that he can have a reunion with his sister!:biggrin2: I can hardly wait!! We will probably take a million photos!:lol: I am so excited, I love shelties!!!
 
Congrats to Miko's sister. I hope she does just as well the rest of the weekend.

That is so awesome. I would really like to go to a show sometime. Sounds so interesting.

And yes, we need pics of the family reunion!
 
Little Muse finished with a total of 6 points on the weekend we saw her which was a nice start to her show career. She then won best of winners on Saturday and Sunday this past weekend so she is now a champion. The breeder told me that she was the second pick from the litter behind our Mikos. I feel bad for her because she had big hopes for Mikos, but if he had stayed in size we wouldn't have our wonderful first sheltie!! Perhaps a Muse puppy is in our future!:biggrin2:
 
Message to Mikos and Muse...

Please tell Muse and Mikos that their Mummy, Gigi, is VERY proud of them. Gigi's human has printed out photos of each of them and has them above her grooming table at home. ( So Gigi can admire them while she is being brushed) :smile2:

I will pass that along and I like the idea of the photos posted up, I think I may have to do that for Mikos! Furry hugs from Mikos to his Mom!!
