The image you painted of Kloee licking Dusty just made me think how tender and sensitive dogs can be... not only to us but one another.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your poor Dusty. The most difficult, but most compassionate, decision we can make for our little friends is to let them go when they are ready instead of waiting until we are. It sounds like that is the decision that you made. Though none of that really makes it any easier.

There are many kind souls who were waiting to greet him at the bridge.

I truly am sorry for the loss of dear Dusty. As I sit here I am shedding my own tears for you.
 
I am so very sorry to hear the news about Dusty. Our hearts are breaking with you. Most of us have had to say goodbye to a loved pup and we know your pain. Canine Cancer Sucks!!!
