It became my bible when dealing with Trevor's liver issues. The home cooked diet I had him on helped improve his liver values. However, I did work with a canine nutritionist to add a few supplements to help make sure it was balanced.

In the end though, the Cushings medications were the ones that improved his liver values the most. I think the diet helped keep him healthier until we figured out it was Cushings.

Thanks Kelly. I have downloaded it but most of the receipes seem to be for dealing acute situations, not ongoing. But I'll take another look.

I'm trying to find a ongoing diet for him that keeps him stable.... because at the moment he is stable.
