Pico...stealth sheltiecat

my aunt and uncle love him.
say he is so well behaved.
even with his howling when i go take a shower. and his flipping his playpen when we went out to a museum for 3 hours.
but they are impressed with how much time he spends playing, cause it’s A LOT. his little cat toy mouse has been deconstructed,

well, return trip wasnt quite as smooth.
it was a 7 AM flight so no way to exercise Pico before since we left the house before 5 AM in the cold wintery dark of KC.
he peeped quite a bit more, but I had enough treats and kibble for bribes during the flight.
we found a grassy area at the KC airport (the dog relief area outsde was closed due to winter weather).
he didn't really like astroturf. he only used the area at SFO after another dog did in front of him.

when checking in the united person asked me to put the sturdibag on the scale, and then to see him and asked if he could stand up.
probably since he was laying down being good and he didn't weight much she didn't ask for a show and tell.

I had a regular seat (I had economy plus the previous flight).
it was lower/shorter (the bag squishes real well but before it wasn't neccessary...320 vs 319 airbus).
i wasnt noticeable more uncomfortable compared to before, but the tray table folded up in half since there wasn't enough space for a full one!

Pico is VERY happy to be home :)

I chose times and days that were less busy (same for XMAS) since I can't catch another flight without waiting a day.
But boy is Pico playful when he doesn't get in his full 3 hours of walks a day!
the past 2 days he hasn't cause of snow and rain and it is overwhelming

In order to "see" on a tv you have to focus behind the screen and I've heard that dogs are not good at doing that while cats often do

Brodie watches TV - a lot. He watches hockey, he stood mesmerized through the entire movie 'The Full Monty' - not sure if it was the accents or what. Last year or year before, he sat in hubby's chair and watched the entire Rose Bowl Parade. Certain things catch his attention. We did try him and Deacon with 'Bluey' - the cartoon in blues ad yellows - Brodie watched, Deacon is much like his daddy and fell asleep.

Glad you had a safe and fun trip with Pico, Cindy!!!! We had wild winds on the East Coast on Sunday and lots of flight disruptions - glad you were not affected!
