I miss grumpy old Watson. But I’m so happy that we didn’t wait and we were able to find Piper so quickly.

Colonel Underpants: "How do you feel about military guys, Piper?"

Piper: “Colonel, does military guys wear uniforms? Mama said someday I could learn to do a therapy. Whatever that is! She said sometimes we could maybe go visit and drink coffee with first responders. I don’t know what that is either! I think they wear uniforms though. Maybe. So, if the Colonel’s wear a uniform with their underpants, they’re a-ok!”

Piper here again- “Mama said I know what first responders are and to stop being silly. But I’m just a puppy. How can I not be silly. She said I can only do a therapy if I’m a good girl. Being good stinks.”

Lovely shots of your girls! I do know what you mean, when we unexpectedly lost Asta and then a month later were offered Faith, it really tore me in two trying to decide if I could get a new dog that soon. Obviously we decided to go ahead and it couldn't have been a better decision.

We are going to take our pups to Yosemite in Feb to find some snow for them to play in! Eli and Meadow have never seen snow.

I don’t know what it is with these dogs and snow! Watson loved it too. Even when he got older.

Even in his grumpiness he was such a good boy and it was so much fun having two, how could we have not? He made us love these little sheepdogs.

Spitfire hates snow and Angus has never really seen much. Now my pre-Sheltie Dow....hate would be an understatement. He even lived in Michigan one winter. He was generally unhappy about it even though he had a big dog to blaze paths living with him. Hillbilly dogs.
