Ok, as some of you might know, I tried to find a tri and unfortunately the female I found just would not bond to me or my boys. I was in constant contact with the breeder about the issue and she and I realized it just was not the right fit for us. She had been returned before and she said she would just keep her. She was happy to back home.

Which leads me to my new tri boy... Baron Von Onyx-Rothschild!

Ok, I may have gone overboard on the name... (being of German ancestry) I thought it fit him better since he seems so regal! He bonded to me the FIRST day and fits into the pack immediately!

Oh, Gloria, I'm so happy to see this post, I can feel -in between the lines- how happy you are for "His Highness" the Baron :hugs

He is so beautiful and all the pic are so nice - I particularly like the last image :yes:

But I'm at least as happy to read this:

Gloria - with your example many could learn how important it is to have a good contact with a breeder
- not all people and dogs fit together - which is so important to realize

It is so important that both parties, both humans and dogs, have the feeling to bond to each other.

- It's not just going to buy a puppy and then expect that we will fit together
- I would wish that many dogs buyers would understand this.
 
Gloria - I had wondered what happened with Focus since you stopped posting about her.... yes, not all matches are made in heaven, and it sounds like she needed to go back to where she was truly comfortable. So glad the breeder will keep her.

Baron looks so regal! Perfect name. He has a very sweet and upbeat look about him. The photos say it all.... what a great pack of happy Shelties, and one happy Sheltie mom with her new boy's head on her leg. Congratulations!! Tell us more about him - age, retired show dog or rescue?
 
Oh wow, what a gorgeous boy. So tell us more. How old is he, what's his background, and are you calling him Baron?

A bit more information on Baron...

He is five years old and the breeder was going to use him for agility but he did not like it. He could not be used for breeding as he went oversized... in a BIG way. Since he has such a sweet and sensitive nature they wanted the right home for him. They decided I was the one! I want to train him in obedience! Want to give him time to adjust... so far so good as you can tell by the pictures!

He is so layback and sweet! He just soaks up praise and attention.

He did come with a rather large chip in his lower canine right tooth! The vet said not to worry about it unless it appears as if it is bothering him. Anyone had this issue? The vet and I do not want to pull it out!
