Prayers for Edan - Surgery on Thursday

Edan's home and, aside from a little sore, doing fine. He'll be sleeping in his soft kennel tonight and any time we aren't able to watch him closely. He's already jumped up on the couch - and off again as he realized I was trying to tell him not to jump up there.

My vet has a sense of humor though... she wrote "no agility training" in my instructions. LOL (I sorta figured that would be the case and didn't schedule him into agility classes this session.)

The vet tech didn't get too happy with the shaver for either the IV spot on his leg (he still has his feathers on the back of the leg) or the spot around his cyst. Maybe it's because I got lucky and the vet tech working today grew up with and knows Shelties. :)

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.

So glad to hear he's doing well... and that they didn't get carried away with the clippers! Hopefully he will have a smooth recovery and you'll be back to agility training in no time!

Good luck keeping him from jumping on the couch in the meantime... nothing keeps these pups down for long!

Thanks for the update on Mr. Edan.

Happy to hear that he is doing well.

When you can, please give Edan a gentle hug from me and a regular hug to CJ.

Glad Edan is doing so well.
Are cysts common on Shelties? My Topper has a large one on his "elbow" and a couple small ones and Emi has a couple of small ones as well. Our late-Macy had a few too.
