Prayers for Rocky Please

Thank you everyone for your prayers, support, and kind words. It is so wonderful to hear all your success stories about acupuncture. I hope Rocky can benefit in the same way. We will keep you all posted on his diagnosis.

Keeping you and Rocky in our prayers in hopes a curable diagnosis is in your future! I know how hard it must be on all of you. Blessings being sent your way.

I am so sorry to hear of Rocky's medical issues, please know that you both are in my thoughts and prayers for a full and speedy recovery. I will pray that the future news will not be as bad as believed and that relief for Rocky is just around the corner. Please keep us updated. :fl

Forums is a great place for support - I have experienced it myself. My prayers for Rocky - for healing and restoration. Will

I'm so sorry to hear about Rocky's issues. I hope Monday brings better news for you. No matter what happens though, I second the suggestion for acupuncture. It worked wonders on one of our first Shelties who had serious joint issues at age 3 from Lyme disease. Our vet, who also treated our horses with acupuncture with great results, used to treat Bandit on the hay bales in our barn while he did the horses. Bandit would just sit there with his needles, happy and calm. He'd be like a puppy again when the treatment was over. It really can work miracles. Bandit lived to age 13 happily herding our horses.

Good luck....we'll be thinking about Rocky on Monday. Please let us know how he does. Give him a pat for us!

I'm sorry he's had a bad prognosis, but hopefully the MRI will give better news, or that acupuncture helps. I'll say a prayer for him too.

Thank you, everyone. Today, we took Rocky in for the MRI. The hospital called back two hours later to tell us that once again, their scanner was broken. It's now scheduled for Thursday, so still no diagnosis.

I've been noticing changes in his left eye (same side as his lame leg). Sunken eye, third eyelid, and decreased dilation. The Dr. says it's Horner's Syndrome, a side effect of the tumor. It's so hard to watch him go through all these changes so quickly.. Only a few months ago, he was his young, spunky self. :(

No word back from the acupunturist.. She's not so quick on answering e-mails.. And I can't seem to find any others in my area.

I am sorry you have had to put up with a second delay on Rocky's MRI...waiting and not knowing is so hard.

Horner's is typically not painful even though it looks awful...and it is not always related to a tumor.

Keeping good wishes coming for Rocky...give him a gentle hug from me.

Trini
