Sadie is suddenly paralyzed

Dear St. Francis,

On this anniversary of Sadie's spinal stroke, we'd like to thank you for keeping watch over her as she healed. :yes:
 
You are a fabulous dog owner for taking such good care of Sadie while she has been sick. So many people abandon their dogs when they get ill; the ones who take care of their pets are seen by some people as having 'wierd' attachment issues. But we know better here....

Give Sadie a hug from me and Gavin!
 
Silly me, I also meant to thank everyone on the forums for being so supportive in my time of need. I don't know what I would have done without your shoulders to cry on and hearing you all cheer me on through cyber space. You're the best!
 
I am so happy for you on this year anniversary and understand you wanting to close that chapter. I am so happy to that she is playing and enjoying life.
Hugs to you both, you are an awesome mom.

I had a lot of difficulty getting old Jake to eat, towards the end of his days. I used a product called "Stat" (by PRN Pharmacal) to keep him from losing [more] weight with fair success. It's a liquid that (according to its maker) provides all the calories and nutrients needed to sustain the animal, in 2 teaspoons per 20-30 lbs, 3 times daily.

I have 2 bottles left over, one still sealed, the other almost full, you are welcome to them if you can use them. They expire 9/2011; I'd rather give them away than throw them away.

Oh my gosh Melissa... I don't know what to say.. Never knew, I'm so sorry about Sadie.......... I didn't know at all. It seemed like he was a lot better by the time I got to know about him a lot more this year. I wish you and your family much love <3 xhugx Precious and I send our warm hugs to Ginny and Tobey too <3

I wasn't a member when this ordeal started with Sadie, and I am SO VERY GLAD to hear she's OK now. That must have been terrifying.......
