Consider that a big blessing not having to worry about ticks. That is very nice. We have ticks here, while not horrible, but they are out there. If you want a preventative to use at the cottage, Eucalyptus Oil is great at keeping them away. There is research they've done to show ticks hate the smell of it and stay away. I spray a mixture on us, my dogs, and our yard daily. If you're interested here's what it consist of:
10-12 total drops of eucalyptus oil in each ounce of carrier oil (almond or coconut or grape seed oil). Then I pour that into a spray bottle with 16 oz of distilled water.
Good luck!
I always prefer more natural/less toxic ways for anything and really appreciate you sharing this with me. I'll definitely be doing this for sure! You're so knowledgeable and am so thankful for all your advice
Ps, I recall you said "when you used to use Revolution", would you mind me asking what you use now??

I've seen a few ticks, but I haven't since I added the spray. The spray is new (like two weeks ago) but it's working great!
