She won't drink out of her dish ??

I'm the crazy lady outside getting fresh snow in the water dish & taking it inside ... add a few toppings .... You know what I'm sayin"!

That goes to show how different dogs are.The glug type is the one that freaks Ember out. 6 yrs she has never gotten use to it. Yes I do still have it for everyone else in the house. Ember has her own "special" bowl.

Yup! Bacca was freaked out for ages with the glug of the replishing bowl that I bought for the cottage. He decided to drink from mud puddles instead! So much for trying to keep them drinking fresh water!

But further on the topic....you might try different water temperatures. Bacca eats snow so I know he likes it cold. But Indy seems to like it more tepid. Just a thought.

Eureka! Treesa came from a breeder outside of Ottawa ... our water is different in the city. Started on some bottled water for now ... she had a few drinks Yeah !!!

Fill a gallon milk jug then let it set for a bit. Probably the chlorine in the city water is what she doesn't like. After a bit at room temperature it flashes off and is gone.

... We are still having some issues with ... the water drinking But luckily we
have not had a shortage of * snow * here in Ottawa ... endless snowcones to be had ... I was wondering if someone could explain about their Shelties eating pumpkin ..etc. just curious ... we just do kibble ... Happy week-end everyone !

You'll find lots of threads on pumpkin. Personally I feed it for loose stools and for regularlty.
