I really would be thankful if she would tell me it could be done laparoscopically!

Good news. The surgeon I have scheduled does both types of surgery!
It will all depend on the condition of his Gallbladder and whether or not he is a candidate for the less invasive procedure.
I will know more next Tuesday when I meet with her.
