On the how cute is your puppy thread, Corbinam (I think) said something about having evidence of naughty puppies. Pretty sure we all do, so I thought, hey, why not share? :biggrin2:

A few of Olive's "finer" moments from her first 12 months (what will the following years bring?:pop:hide:gaah):

Those photos cracked me up! I'm sure they weren't very funny at the time though... especially the wallpaper she ripped off!

Alas, I don't have photographic evidence of most of Lerwick's naughty moments... apart from this photo of Lerwick himself and his shaved belly and poodle legs after he got back from a 2-night stay at the emergency vet clinic when he ate part of the toy my in-laws bought him for Christmas this year. Fortunately, he didn't require surgery to remove the obstruction... just $1300 worth of overnight vet fees and radiographs/ultrasounds! :rolleyes2:

The second photo is of Lerwick lying on my Grandmother's couch at Xmas. To the casual observer, this doesn't look like a photo depicting naughtiness. However, he is not allowed on any furniture except our bed, and ESPECIALLY not any furniture at my Grandparents' house (Grandma is NOT a pet person). Fortunately, Grandma didn't see him on her couch (Mike took this photo before shooing Lerwick off). You can tell he knows he isn't supposed to be up there! :uhoh:

Naughty puppies- I have blocked out most of the things Ember did as a puppy. I remember random screaming, biting, chewing cell phone chargers and leashes, and other various items. Somehow she turned out ok , seriously only dog I even considered returning.

Diva chewed up a laundry hamper full of clothes. I think 4 pairs of Jeans , 6 tshirts and al the underwear and socks. Many books which she will still do from time to time. Sh was a cheeky little thing see picture below. But her sweetness made up for it.

Birch likes paper and will chew on it if given a chance. Really he is a good boy just a bit energenic and thinks he is a super ball.

Justice is perfect, always has been always will be.:smile2:

We haven't bothered to replace the wallpaper yet, either! The idea of a kitchen remodel has been floating, for sometime in the coming years; I think Olive was just trying to do us a favor. Not sure what she was doing with the Pepsi. Both the TP'ing and the Pepsi incident happened in <15 minutes...just long enough to run downstairs and switch around loads of laundry.

Lerwick knows, you can totally see it in on his face! They learn so quick what it OK/not OK, and somehow learn the stink eye about the same time!

I have no pictures of a guilty Missy, but she's done some pretty naughty things. Paper goods cannot be left anywhere she can get to... she will shred them. This includes napkins, tissues, and any fast food trash. She has chewed 4 iphone cables in half, chewed a clothing iron power cord in half, and my carpet cleaner power cord in half. Luckily none of those cables were plugged in when she got to them. I was able to get all "handy" and replace the carpet cleaner cord myself, otherwise I would be out $150. The other stuff I just replaced. She also licked the paint off the wall within the first couple weeks I had her... she's an extra special puppy.

No pictures either but I remember the 1st time we left her out of the crate all day. I came home 1st thank goodness. I came home to the entire 1st floor (kitchen, dining room, family room and living room) covered in pieces of wood! I thought oh know DH is going to be really mad. Fortunately she only found the decorative kindling and chewed it to shreds!! What a relief when I realized it wasn't the furniture.

Lol very cute! I loved the last one with the spoon- jaw drop!

At 9 months, I think Riley has entered the terrible teens! Here's what he did to my cell phone bill last week:

This is how the week ended. And although, technically my fault for letting him run around, he had to target the muddiest areas. Even after a bath, he left dirt all over the couch:

The best part of all this naughtiness is the sheltie look they give: "Yeah, I chewed up a whole box of kleenex. So what's YOUR problem?

Love it. Liam has chewed up pop tins too. I think the worst is the tub stoppers (plugs) that he devours or the razor he left the blade from in the kitchen and hid the handle in the couch cushions. They do make our lives interesting.

Unfortunately no photos either, but Darla has pulled up and eaten part of our scotia beading from our laminate floor and the back door matt. Both instances required trips to the vet too. Possibly the worst thing she ever did when she was a pup was to do a poo outside and bring it into the house to have a munch on it!
