Three month old Sheltie in Sioux Falls Humane Society

I just inquired about Bishop. He is kept in the front office with Staff so he is being well socialized. They only foster animals that are sick or have special needs. They don't want to send him to a Sheltie rescue group because they figure he will be adopted real fast. I will be dropping of some donations to them at the end of the week and I will also meet with him.

Thanks for the update.

It is great to hear that they are socializing him.

Just a thought...why would they have to know it is a Sheltie rescue "adopting" him? If you found a rescue that would take him; they could "adopt" him and then find his forever home.

I think I will get a better understanding when I go there in person. My guess is they suspect that he will be adopted soon.

Awe, what a cutie.

I can't begin to understand giving up my dog because of moving or changing jobs. I'll just never get it. Poor puppy. :(

Ha! I had the exact same thought as soon as I saw the picture! Even the freckles on the nose!

Come on, Sheep of Blue! You gotta do it!
See he was adopted yesterday and yes Sca needs a buddy but convincing my folks to watch TWO shelties when I am gone :eek2: Sca is settling in though and has Dad trained, Mom still rules the roost though.
