Translate a Sneeze into "Sheltie"

I don't dare be laying down and cough or sneeze. I have 22 pounds on sheltie on my back with a wet nose in my face - Are you ok Mom? Did something hurt you? Let me give you a kiss and make it all better!

Amazingly none of my shelties react to sneezes. I guess they just don't care about me. *sniff*:(

Mine don't either. I do tend to sneeze a bit every evening, so perhaps they are just used to it.

If I put on tennis shoes, though, I suddenly had a Duncan glued to my side.

Your responses had me laughing for at least a half hour!! So, at least my little girl is exhibiting "normal" sheltie behavior. I guess my boy isn't worried that my face is going to fall off!
Mr. "Brush Me In The Bathroom" got a bath this morning. He really enjoys the bath part...it's the brushing he hates. Sorry guy - you're going up on the doorknob later on to get those lush pants brushed out.

These posts are funny. When we sneeze Sandstorm will come and watch us and cock his head to the side. He sneezes after he barks. Cute,
Karen

If I sneeze..Boo, just looks at me like " What the heck was that?"
If I lay on the floor, he comes over, sticks his nose in my ear( I guess he thinks that's where my heart is) and if he still hears it beating, he just lays down beside me and let's me die in peace.
But if I put my shoes on and grab my coffee cup he starts barking and running in circles..Goin for a ride, goin for a ride.....but if I don't take him, he lays at the top of the stairs with that look...you know the one..." Well, go ahead and leave me, but if I commit suicde while your gone....IT'S YOUR FAULT!!!! Nothing worse than those guilt trips.:rolleyes2:

I almost died laughing. Sheltie guilt trips are the worse.

Last Weds night I was leaving to take Justice to agility class and I put Ember in her kennel. She went in fine and then proceded to bark and stomp her feet and whine. Then she laid down on her side and banged her front feet against the bars of the kennel, finally she sighed and gave me "the LOOK".

I then did something I have never done in her 5 yrs on earth, I opened the kennel door and took her with me. I could see her gloating all the way to class.:smile2: Devil dog.

oh no- you caved - you're in for it now
but you already admitted that Ember is in charge so maybe there won't be many differences.....................

I know. She knows I'm weak now. :wink2:

It was kind of funny, she got her way and then had to sit in the van. *evil laugh* She then barked her head off wanting to run when she knew Justice was taking her place. I just ignored her. More torture for her than staying home, I can tell you.:smile2:

Doc, "THE LOOK" I'd rather stab myself in the head than get "THE LOOK!" And this guy here has got it down PERFECT!
