Read the fine print

Ohhh my gosh. I got out my contract with you and there in teeny tiny print at the very bottom, it said, that if one of your puppies leaves the country for vacation and is going to a country that you, the breeder, wanted to visit, that we had to take you with us.

McKinley wants to know if you will bring treats................and Megan:o!

count me in! I will even carry MMM if his little feet get too tired from all the touring. :wink2:

I will bring the treats of his choice! I have always wanted to see Ireland and Scotland. The countryside looks so beautiful. I would also like to catch a dog show while there, do you think we could? MMM may be enamored by a sheltie bark with a brogue!

I, too, have always dreamed of visiting Scotland and Ireland. I would LOVE to have Ellie there! Wouldn't that be so much fun!

Traveling anywhere with Tess would be awesome (she really is my vigilant sidekick) but if I had to choose a secret doggie ambition, it would be for Murphy.
My first sheltie was such an amazing dog, he could have easily gone through the necessary training and certifications to do visitation therapy... and even though I was 16 and he was 14 when he died, I still regret not doing it... he could have brought such joy to places that need it most.... and I see so much of him in Murph. He has the perfect personality: he thrives on physical attention and is a total ham, he just lacks the self confidence. But geez, he has already come so far in both training and confidence from the quivering, underweight, glassy-eyed dog I first met about 8 months ago. I know its a long shot since he's a rescue, but he's only two and growing more sure of himself everyday; nothing would make me happier than to take him through the training and to watch him blossom having his own "job" visiting nursing homes and the like.

MMM here...

Oh yes, my heart belongs to Boopka and Megan could pick her up and bring her with us. Then it would be the 6 of us.

How hard is it to transport us? I do not think I would like to be considered luggage. I have seen the luggage that Ron and Jan drag in from their traipsing about and it bears quite a few battle scars.

~~~~Ohh I'll take the high road and you take the low road and I"ll be in Scotand afore ye, for me and my true love will never meet again, on the bonny bonny shores of Loch Lomand~~~~~~~whistling fading off~~~~~~~~
Jan here........
How did that crazy pup ever learn to whistle?
I want to take my shelties to the beach! If Dad ever comes back to the states (Dad? Dad? You are coming back, right?! :uhoh: :dead:) I want to save up some vacation time and hopefully maybe they will send him to Texas again. I would LOVE to take the dogs to Padre Island, even though there's no freaking way four people and two dogs are fitting in that car. :uhoh: And the salt. There's lots of salt. :uhoh:
I still want to take my dogs to the beach one day though!
