Warning - image disturbing - what did he eat!

I shouldn't laugh - I know I shouldn't laugh - but I remember thinking the very same thing about Skylar. Spirit was such an easy puppy and did absolutely nothing wrong. She was my first puppy and I remember wondering why people thought puppies were so much work. And then I brought Skylar home.....
Piper was the trouble maker for me...Finnie is a piece of cake!
But Liam, eating all THAT...Gloria, your going to have your hands full! I hope he settles down a bit as he gets older!

I can answer how a puppy could get a squirrel....
Jocu had one in the backyard- I couldn't figure out what he had but he is a good boy and dropped it. I couldn't figure out how he caught a squirrel unless it was sick. then a few days later, he had another one. that worried me and I was concerned that the crazy people might have poisoned the squirrels so I put it in the freezer and got an appt with the vet. came home early the next day to take Jo and the dead squirrel in for testing and found the crazy boy shooting an air rifle at a squirrel in a tree in my yard. I told him not to shoot into my yard and he denied it. shoulda called the cops then...
oh, I did forget that Destin got hold of one the dead squirrels and he was not a good boy and would not drop it.......

Glad to hear is OK Gloria. Zulu has upchucked two of my grand kid socks, and one of the baby's headbands. Each one of these came after a visit, and every incident was 1-2 weeks after they left. He never acted distressed, so we never suspected anything. Our vet said it is not that uncommon, but 3 times, he has been a very lucky boy. We preach to the kids to not leave their socks on the floor, but when you have four little ones running around the house, it is not an easy task!

I hope he settles down too! It was so hard for me to get back to sleep worrying about him having an obstruction! He seems to be such a sweet puppy overall. Just forgot how much work it is! Thank goodness I work from home!

I will be so happy when I can take him out for long walks to burn off that puppy energy! Maybe then I can relax a bit... maybe not!

He and Beau ran around the yard playing so he got tired out a bit!

I would have thought the opposite... Finnie was the rascal and Piper the angel! Boy, I got that wrong!

So, Zulu never had an obstruction requiring surgery? That is my worsted fear! Thank goodness Zulu is OK!
Being single at least I keep my house pretty clean and picked up! I can’t imagine how having four little ones can be... too stressful!

At least I was smart enough to purchase pet insurance for him! I hope I will never need it!

That is just a horrific story! What idiot goes around killing defenses animals! Shame on him!
I had the same fear... if it was a squirrel that was sick I needed to get Liam medication attention quickly since he is so young!

I am glad he is OK. One dog in our noswork class gets so excited and she inhaled one of the tubes the scent was in (this was at home not in class). She was taken to the vet, had x-ray which showed nothing. Her owner knew she swallowed it and continuously was watching for it to pass but never found it. Fast forward a few months the poor pup woke up vomiting, and guess what it was....the vial of odor.

That was my first thought too...I thought if the squirrel was dead what did it die from??? Glad it was just your hair!
