I am very fortunate. Sophie has not destroyed anything so far. Her toys look like they have been dragged around the world though, but as for furniture and wires, she avoids them. I keep my trash bins inside of cabinets under the sink or else I know she would gone after those.
The funny thing is my cat has destroyed more things than my dog. She keeps going after the couch and keeps pulling the dirt out of the palm tree we have.
laptop adapter
lamps (2)
alarm clocks (6)
digital camera charger
cable modem cords (5)
leashes
collars
bra straps :x (they prefer the expensive ones at that...)
more shoe strings than I can count
and a fist sized spot in the bathroom wall when I was living in an apartment.
Everything in my house that may look like doggie dental floss (well, other than the clothing) now gets sprayed with bitter barrier. It got too expensive having them eat those things.
Keep in mind, I have several shelties here.
We have a window that opens into the den from the kitchen. Under that ledge in the den is the loveseat and FoxMan climbs up the back of the loveseat and comes in through that window and he forages around (walks around) the counters in the kitchen and grabs whatever might be left around on the counters. He recently was found with his head literally buried in a bag of cracker jack
