    Yearly shots.

A a full titer around here will run you about $60 - $80, but it will vary by location. If you're interested in reading more, here is some great info from Dr. Jean Dodds, another amazing veterinarian who has done some great research and helped to establish the Rabies Challenge Fund and Hemopet...

    Yearly shots.

I 100% agree. If you are worried about your dogs' level of protection, why not just pull a simple titer test so that you don't vaccinate a dog who is already protected? Here is a great video done by a fantastic veterinarian, Dr. Karen Becker, regarding vaccines...

    Our official intro!

Hey there! We've been looking for a Sheltie to add to our family for months now. I've posted a couple times on here asking for advice, and you have all been extremely helpful. When I saw HopeShelties post about the little girl that was abandoned in her yard, I sent her an email. We've...

    Steel, ceramic or plastic!?

I use stainless steel as well. Plastic is very porous and prone to harboring bacteria.

    OFA 'Good' ?

I got some more info on the pup I mentioned earlier who is being sold by a local breeder. Her parents OFA'd "good". Is this acceptable, or should I look for a dog where at least one of the parents OFA'd "excellent" ? She is 15 1/2 inches at 10 months. The breeder said she doesn't have the head...
