Not a raw diet, just home-cooked. I was planning on supplementing with kibble.

My Indy pants, too, and I think that he is trying to annoy me. It usually means that he has not had enough exercise. He never does it after he has had his hike. If time permits, I always take him on a hike when he is panting and then he gets home and is just about comatosed.

Indigo very reluctantly will howl if I howl at him and the rest of his family is not home. At the end of the howl, he will sort of gag like it tickles his throat.

Indigo can sit, down, rollover, crawl, shake, high five, spin and speak to both voice commands or hand signals. We are also working on howl, but he is not vocal, so he is resistant. Other than playing dead - which is too creepy for me - what other tricks are there?

Indigo, my non-barker, snaps at the air instead of barking in situations that warrant a bark.

Indy loves all of the kids in the neighborhood and spends a good deal of time herding them all, not just our kids. When we go on vacation, he just goes to our neighbor's home and acts like their home and their kids are his. He seems to enjoy his vacations as much as we enjoy ours.

Sammie was a cover biter. He didn't chew or damage the sheets/blankets in any way, but when he got in the bed with you he would calmly bite the covers.
