That made me cry. I remember how I felt, when I had to put Sebastian to sleep nearly 13 years ago. It was a hard decision to make, but it was the best thing that you could do for her. Jazzy lived a good life with a family that loved her, and it seems to me that is what all dogs desire.

My new little sheltie puppy is about 9.5 weeks old, so he's a little young for agility just yet. What is the best age to start it? How does one get involved? TIA! Diana

It's going better. There were only a few minutes of crying tonight. I put a pillow over my head and rode it out. You're right, I don't want to train him that crying means attention. He really is such a smart little guy. LOL

I'm lying in bed listening to Percy cry. If I could trust him not to pee on my bed, I would let him sleep with me. Since I can't trust that he won't potty on my bed, he has to sleep in the crate. I know that he doesn't have to go because he had ample opportunity to pee outside just a little...
