Thanks everyone. Dylan is soooo much happier now that he's not itching! I swear I see him smiling :). And as far as the age thing goes, I wish we could have had him as a puppy but it really doesn't matter we love him whatever age he is. I know he's happy and content and that's all that matters.

We finally got Dylan to the vet to see about his itching. Vet said he's got seasonal allergys and gave him 4mg of Medrol. It worked with the very first dose! No more itching for him and he seems quite happy about that. I also got some disturbing news also while at the vet. He was checking...

I've been feeding him Innova. his skin looks fine which puzzles me why the itching.

He was chained to a porch when he was rescued and very badly matted. They had to shave him almost right to the skin. It's growing back nicely tho. Hopefully it won't take too long to get back.
